Delaney Matrix is a full-service marketing and advertising consulting firm. Founded in 1987 by Michael Delaney. It was Michael’s last career move after serving as a paramedic, managing an ambulance service, taking a marketing position in a large medical center, and then entering the world of marketing communications. Nearly every experience preceding the start of this firm contributes to our philosophy of caring, service, quality, and a focus on positive outcomes.
Michael Delaney, President
Experienced in the development of strategic plans, creating and executing marketing plans, and managing ongoing communications plans within client organizations, Michael is skilled in communications assessment, program design, concepting, copywriting, and plan implementation.
Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Health Systems Leadership from the University of San Francisco. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior from the same university and an Associate of Arts Degree from Fresno City College. His postgraduate education includes lifelong learning in courses such as professional selling skills, organization development, strategic planning for healthcare organizations, and marketing plan development.
Toby Delaney, Agency Manager
No amount of creativity works without a solid organizational underpinning. Toby ensures that all customers are served, including internal customers, suppliers, and valued clients. Her business approach is a work of art.
With a 38-year career in this field as a graphic designer, Toby’s worked for a newspaper, managed the graphics department of a busy commercial printing company, and founded her own design firm. She’s won dozens of design awards, designed materials for clients throughout the country, including logos, brochures, stationery, and print ads.
Toby is co-creative director at Delaney Matrix, providing input and direction. She manages daily production, directs suppliers, and supports clients. Toby oversees staff, including project managers, accounting, and subcontractors.
